MARK BREWSTER

PRESIDENT

Mark Brewster’s lifelong commitment to emergency medical services extends beyond the field — it now drives his mission to shape the future of EMS through education. As President of CMTI, Mark brings the same passion, vision, and operational excellence that have defined his leadership at Brewster Ambulance Service.

With decades of hands-on experience and executive leadership in one of the Northeast’s largest ambulance providers, Mark understands what today’s EMS professionals need to succeed and how to prepare tomorrow’s workforce to meet those demands. His goal: to equip students not just with certifications, but with the confidence, clinical skills, and real-world knowledge to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Under Mark’s guidance, CMTI is focused on delivering rigorous, career-focused training rooted in integrity, innovation, and community service. By combining industry-leading instruction with the operational insights of a working EMS system, he is helping raise the bar for EMT and paramedic education.

Mark’s leadership ensures that every graduate is not only workforce-ready but also part of a broader mission — to elevate care, save lives, and serve with purpose.

 
 
 

KEITH WILSON, NRP, CCEMT-P, I/C

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Keith has served in this role since founding the company in 2009. With over 25 years of experience in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) industry, he began his career as a field paramedic with both Boston EMS and Brewster Ambulance Service. In addition to his EMS background, Keith is a career Fire Lieutenant, providing strong leadership in emergency medical operations.

His educational background is equally impressive. Keith is a graduate of the UMBC Critical Care Paramedic Program and the Cape Cod Community College School of Paramedicine. He has also completed advanced coursework in Emergency Service Management, underscoring his ongoing commitment to professional development and excellence in the field.

Throughout his career, Keith has taught hundreds of EMTs and Paramedics, sharing his wealth of knowledge and practical experience with the next generation of emergency responders. His dedication to education has been a cornerstone of his career, as he holds multiple EMS teaching credentials and continues to mentor those entering the profession.

 
 

GARY SMITH, REMT-B

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Gary has been a dedicated member of CMTI since its inception in 2009 and has served as Director of Operations for the past eight years. With nearly 40 years of experience in emergency medical services, his career began in 1980 with the Hanson Fire Department. Over his 35+ years with the department, Gary served 20 years as EMS Coordinator and 18 years as a Lieutenant before retiring in 2015. As EMS Coordinator, he played a pivotal role in advancing the department’s services from the basic life support level to advanced life support at the paramedic level. In recognition of his contributions, Gary received the Old Colony/Plymouth EMS EMT-I of the Year Award in 2001.

Gary is also responsible for coordinating all (NREMT) EMT practical examinations for CMTI. His strong attention to detail ensures that all CMTI students are well-informed and fully prepared for success.

 
 
 

DR. DANIEL MUSE

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Dr. Muse is a board-certified emergency physician who has over 30 years of experience in the field.  He has been practicing at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital for the last eleven years.  Dr. Muse has also served as EMS medical director overseeing 13 departments and agencies.  For the last five years, he has assisted the local district attorney’s offices in advising and training law enforcement agencies in the use of nasal naloxone.  This initiative was recently extended to school nurses and trainers in the Plymouth, Norfolk, and Middlesex County communities.  Dr. Muse also works with local communities speaking on the issue of substance abuse at schools and community organizations.  For the last four years, he has also served as a medical advisor for the Municipal Police Training Center.

 
 
 

Matthew Williams, MA, NRP, EMS-IC

Program Director 

Matt is a paramedic and educator with more than a decade of experience in both the field and the classroom.
He began his career at Cataldo Ambulance, working as an EMT, paramedic, and community paramedic before moving into teaching. Over the years, he has taught EMT courses with Cataldo, Northeastern University, and Pro Center for Medics, as well as CPR and ACLS courses for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

In 2020, Matt became program director for the newly established Cataldo Education Center paramedic program where he designed the curriculum, guided it through the initial accreditation process, and taught the first two cohorts as lead instructor.

Since joining CMTI in September 2024, Matt has continued to blend leadership with teaching. He became program director in March 2025 and now oversees CMTI’s education programs while continuing to teach in the classroom.

 
 

Mike Giunta

Lead INstructor - Quincy Campus

Mike is a paramedic and educator with more than 30 years of experience in emergency medical services. He began his career with Reardon Ambulance in Dorchester and volunteered with Boston Community Ambulance before joining Boston EMS, where he served the city for three decades as both an EMT and paramedic.

During his tenure with Boston EMS, Mike developed a passion for teaching. He is certified as a CPR, ACLS, and PALS instructor, serves as Affiliate Faculty at the Clinical Training Center at Boston Medical Center, and is recognized by the Massachusetts Office of EMS as a Chief Examiner, as well as an ALS and BLS Examiner.

Throughout his career, Mike has instructed numerous EMT and Paramedic courses, serving in roles such as BLS Instructor/Coordinator, Paramedic Program Director, and Lead Paramedic Instructor.

Since February 2023, Mike has been part of CMTI, where he continues to share his expertise as a Lead Paramedic Instructor.

 
 
 

CHERYL AGNEW

EDUCATION MANAGER

Cheryl joined the CMTI team in 2017, bringing more than 25 years of experience in EMS and communications. She oversees instructor scheduling for CMTI and coordinates education programs at both Brewster Ambulance and Eascare Ambulance. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, Cheryl ensures that classes run smoothly and that resources are effectively managed to support both instructors and students.

Committed to continuous growth, she is currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences to further expand her expertise and enhance her contributions to the field.

 
 
 

JAMES NEENAN

INSTRUCTOr

Jim is a knowledgeable and dependable professional who has been with CMTI since 2015. His career in emergency services spans more than four decades, beginning as an EMT in 1977 and advancing to Paramedic in 2002. With 42 years of service in the fire department, Jim brings a deep well of real-world experience to his instructional role. He holds both Associate and Bachelor's degrees and has earned numerous instructor certifications, reflecting his commitment to education and the advancement of emergency medical services.

 
 
 

RYAN HICKEY

INSTRUCTOR

Ryan joined the CMTI team as an instructor in 2018. He began his career with Boston EMS in 2007 where he currently serves as a Paramedic, primarily operating in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston.

Ryan is a Massachusetts State Examiner and Instructor/Coordinator, actively involved in the instruction of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses.

In addition to his instructional roles, Ryan contributes to national standards in emergency response as a member of the Technical Committee for NFPA 3000: Standard for Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response. He also holds the designation of Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C).

 
 
 

CHRISTOPHER STRATTON

INSTRUCTOR

Chris is currently certified as an EMT-Paramedic. Chris has been involved with pre-hospital emergency care since 1975 starting with the Boston Ambulance Squad; He worked for several private ambulance companies including Brewster Ambulance; and also worked for and retired from the City of Boston EMS after 34 years of service. Chris has been with CMTI since 2012 and is currently working as an Instructor. 

 
 
 

StepheN O’Sullivan

INSTRUCTOR

Stephen has been part of CMTI since May 2018, where he primarily teaches in the paramedic program. He has worked as an EMT since 2000, became a registered nurse in 2005, and earned his paramedic certification in 2008. His prehospital background includes both fire-based and commercial EMS, while his hospital experience spans emergency, ICU, pediatrics, and trauma care.

 
 

Laura Tresca

Education Coordinator

Laura has been an integral part of CMTI since 2019. She provides key support to our American Heart Association Training Center and also oversees the AHA programs for Brewster Ambulance. Additionally, she serves as the coordinator for all American Heart Association programs, ensuring they run efficiently and meet the highest standards.

 
 
 

Charles Bailey

Lead Instructor

Charles, also known as Chuck, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization.

Chuck's journey began in the U.S. Army where he served on active duty for six years. In 1993, he became an EMT and attended the Program of Paramedicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. His dedication and hard work led him to become a Nationally Registered Paramedic in 1996.

Chuck served as a Paramedic on M-5, an Advanced Life Support intercept unit that provided essential medical assistance to the City of Brockton and its surrounding communities. In 1999, he entered the Fire Service with the Franklin Fire Department, where he held the position of EMS Coordinator before retiring in 2019.

Chuck's commitment to excellence prompted him to further his skill set. He attended CONTOMS offered by the United States Park Police at the Massachusetts State Police Academy, earning him the designation of EMT-Tactical. In recent times, Chuck embraced teaching and worked as a Mobile Integrated Health Paramedic for South Shore Hospital during the Pandemic.

Chuck holds a BA in Psychology from Dean College and maintains instructor certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). He is currently the Emergency Medical Services Manager at Morton Hospital in Taunton.

 
 
 

Katie Morales

Clinical Coordinator

Katie has been the Clinical Coordinator and Paramedic lecturer for the CMTI program since 2022. She also works as a full-time Registered Nurse with a background in critical care, emergency care, flight nursing, pediatrics and community care nursing.

In 2021, Katie obtained her Paramedic licensure through the CMTI program. She completed her Bachelor in Health Science from Sacred Heart University in 2017 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2019.

Katie's experience in the field is extensive. She has been has been involved in EMS since 2013 both as an EMT-B and Paramedic.

Katie's credentials and dedication to her work are truly remarkable. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every aspect of her role.

 
 
 

WILLIAM CUSHING

LAW ENFORCEMENT LIAISON

Billy has an impressive record of service, spanning 17 years, with the Braintree Police Department. He has consistently demonstrated outstanding professionalism, dedication, and distinguished achievements throughout his tenure. Notably, Officer Cushing has been honored with the prestigious George Hannah Award for Valor on two separate occasions, a testament to his unwavering commitment to public safety.

Officer Cushing's contributions extend beyond his department. He is highly regarded within the K9 community and the law enforcement field as a whole. For the past 11 years, Officer Cushing has excelled as a patrol K9 Handler, working alongside his trusted partner, K9 Kitt. Their remarkable partnership has showcased their exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe.
